I hoard random garbage. Living in a small space in a modern hellhole city means I need to find uses for collected garbage all the time. A stolen commercial ad pole had been turned into #monoband 30m #hf #aprs #antenna for a friends use. It will be an #Igate.
I used coil from a failed antenna project so I cleared two useless thing at once.
Plus a decade long unused pop rivet gun proved it's worth today...

Noch ein paar #PacketRadio-Tests gemacht. Ich bastel gerade an einem kleinen Instant-#Messenger in Python über #AX25-Verbindungen. Bremen hat zum Glück noch einen funktionierenden #Digipeater und über #igate kann man theoretisch auch (übers Internet getunnelt) von weiter weg einsteigen.
Recently received a #LePotato board by @librecomputer.
My goal is to use this as a more power efficient replacement to my #RaspberryPi 3b, which currently serves as an #aprs #digipeater, #igate, and remote #wsjtx host.
First impressions: the documentation is pretty lacking, but the board itself seems well made.

Hello all, I'm K6AUG, operator August, technician class, from just south of San Francisco, CA USA. I'm a member of the SF Amateur Radio Club, #SFARC #W6PW, and formerly with the UC Santa Cruz Amateur Radio Club #K6SLG.
I recently upgraded to a #Yaesu #FT5 #FT5DR HT, so my latest fixation is #APRS beaconing, and finally getting a proper #antenna outfitted on my car, and possibly setting up a tx/rx #iGate.
