After 4 POTA activations, 124 QSOs across 29 countries (quite impressive to see on the map what the little QMX can achieve ๐ฅฐ), and several kilometers hiked through Malta's stunning landscape โฐ๏ธ, Iโm heading home. โ๏ธ
I can definitely recommend Malta for any QRP and POTA enthusiasts looking for great views and even better RF. ๐

Enjoyed another perfect 40-min POTA activation at MT-0024 today with the QMX and whip! The weather and RF conditions were both flawless, netting 36 contacts and a bit of a tan to go with them. ๐
Huge thanks to all the hunters for opening their ears to my QRP signals.

Got in car, set up HF radio, reset car's MPG meter and started commute home. Out onto highway, found big boxy trucks to follow, 80-100 kph in the slow lane.
Cross the valley, climb the mountain, spin the dial, scan the bands.
Radio needs no looking at; controls are familiar, so are HF bands. Listen.
No good opportunity to speak, but plenty to hear.
Finish up 45m later, roll quietly through neighborhood on electric motor. Home, park. Looked at car's MPG: 92.0
Managed another 1-hour POTA session at MT-0021 today with the QMX, power bank, and whip. Despite dodging some rain, RF conditions were great, allowing for 37 contacts on the 20m band before my time was up! Malta is truly a QRP paradise - thanks to all the hunters who joined the fun.

Another fantastic POTA day at MT-0002 with my QMX and whip. The sunny weather ๐ and stunning sea views were worth the trip alone!
I logged 31 contacts ๐ช primarily on 20m, including P2P's with 9H/DL2MDU at MT-0029 and YU7RQ/P at RS-0065 before having to QRT after one hour โ as my lunch break wrapped up.

Battled a heavy east wind at POTA MT-0009 this morning, requiring me to guy the whip with some strings to keep it somehow steady.
The QMX and power bank setup held up well, netting 20 contacts (primarily on the 30m band). ๐ช
