Proudly, I present to you Digimaker...
I grossly made several circuit mistakes and still surprised that it did not explode when I powered that. I fixed the traces and now it works like a charm.
It digipeats and beacon on its own and my hacky code fixes made it announce correct symbol and coordinates. I consider this done besides some further improvements in the future.

It is 04.20 AM and got a lesson in obsession. It is fun to work on something that you are passionate about but sometimes you need to give a break. I didn't realise the missing gnd =)
I have finished the hard part of my stand alone #aprs #digipeater project. I had to modify the code for digi signs and location info in the packets.
#3dprinted case and battery terminals are next. Also I need to test that circuit but need an extra earphone to sacrifice first.

A ghost from past. This device is an #aprs modem build with #arduino almost a decade ago to prove something in your face fashion. Since then it was barely used for anything useful.
I decided to make a #Digipeater from it and discovered a unsoldered pin after all these years! It was working fine with #Yaesu ptt logig but not with #baofeng. A decade old bug came to haunt me tonight =)

Recently received a #LePotato board by @librecomputer.
My goal is to use this as a more power efficient replacement to my #RaspberryPi 3b, which currently serves as an #aprs #digipeater, #igate, and remote #wsjtx host.
First impressions: the documentation is pretty lacking, but the board itself seems well made.
More to come!
