U-30 RADIOAFICIONADOS LEONESES

There is this station in San Francisco, running a weather station, and posting weather data every minute from a fixed location. No email address on QRZ.com. Damn fools.

@KF5QHQ A CHA TDL kit can be expanded into multiple other antenna types with some cheap big box hardware store add ons. I have captured multiple very usable antenna setups based on that starting point at my qsl.net site. Have setup and used many of the self standing configurations (no trees available in my operating areas). Lots of fun with antennas at this end. 73

@KF5QHQ Have used many antennas over the years. Now HOA restricted. I started with the CHA F-Loop basic (self assembled saving $$) kit for indoor use, then bought MPAS-Lite for FD 2024, added TDL add-on parts for FD 2025. Their gear is expensive compared to full DIY, but works good for my temporary operating environments. #HamRadio #HOA

@KF5QHQ Planning a totally separate station at my QTH using temporary station for that event: outside vertical antenna, 50’ feed line, operating table, etc., at opposite end of house from my tiny everyday all-indoor QRP mag-loop ham station. Have operated 1 QRP (5W) radio, CW, two operator, all natural power in past with good results. #HamRadio #FieldDay #OldNeedAC

@kr1st @Geojoek Wondering if terminating the far end of a length of that line with a 600 ohm resistor would show good VSWR across all bands? Maybe there is something odd (else) going on that also contributes to the rig shutting down occasionally during transmit? #Mystery #HamRadio #AntennaFeed
