Oktober findet in Belo Horizonte, einer im Südwesten Brasiliens gelegenen Metropole mit zweieinhalb Millionen Einwohnern, die Wahl des Stadtrats und des Bürgermeisters statt. Gleichzeitig können die Bürger im Rahmen eines Referendums über die Flagge der Stadt abstimmen.
