And I suppose I just needed to voice this because this is the casual #FatStigma or #FatBias they talk about in medicine and public health. These are the real impacts of it, the severity of it. It ruins lives for no good reason.

Just like in mental health this group of people gets to do this unchecked and call it a bias that they are now working on.

Rethinking how I will use CW and will not be doing that anymore when talking about #fatliberation #fatstigma or lived experience in the receiving end of discrimination of bodytype.

This is an issue that has its roots in #racism, we should not get to choose to close our eyes from it. If it makes people uncomfortable, it's because it should.

Today I was able to bring the book Fearing the Black Body by Sabrina Strings and the oppressive practices of the europeans of the 16th to 18th century to discussion in my all privileged study group on Intercultural Communication. Was able to show how this relates to the #fatstigma of today and the ideas of "culture" we live in, including #dietculture.

Went and deleted the over 3000 tweets I had accumulated since my last clean-up. All my hot takes about #adhd + #autism + #CovidIsNotOver + #fatstigma + #climatecrisis and much more are now gone and profile pics and things removed.
