Rethinking how I will use CW and will not be doing that anymore when talking about #fatliberation #fatstigma or lived experience in the receiving end of discrimination of bodytype.

This is an issue that has its roots in #racism, we should not get to choose to close our eyes from it. If it makes people uncomfortable, it's because it should.

@dianor I have come to a similar conclusion. In my first post here where I shared a picture of myself and spoke about #FatJoy, I initially used a CW but after I thought about it some more it just didn't sit right with me to hide a post about being visible as a fat person

@ashleeofjupiter This as well yes, it is people existing as they are. If the entire point of #fatactivism is to bring forward how it isn't ok to try and remove a certain body type from existing entirely, we then need to be allowed to exist. Going behind a CW to allow people to choose not see us and how this affects lives would then feel pretty disingenuous as a position.
