#Bernie #lefism #marx #socialism #uspolyoutu.be/syW8GoRGSyk THIS is what I couldn't get through the heads of Berners who were in disbelief that he could lose, and that the liberals didn't want him in their party. As of 2016 or 2018 I can't remember, around 15% of all Americans considered themselves some form of leftists and 52% of Americans were leftphobic. Those numbers have changed over time but no where near enough. With late stage capitalism bending us over every chance it can get robbing us blind, more and more people are learning class consciousness in their own ways. However this video is still solid in understanding the average American mind. Until we can figure how to communicate our ideas better, its a massive uphill battle. So many leftists are so far in their won bubble its the Russian leftists who tried to go to teach the peasants about marxism and refused to treat them like real people, and pretty much disposed and looked down on this. This persisted even under Lenin, otherwise the farm collectives would have been run much more like the industrial sector where people got benefits for working harder as apposed to the farmers, leading to famine and starvation. Its an uphill battle. Just for clarification, my personal political beliefs are that we should have a multiparty system where the social democrats are the most right wing conservative party. No one, including Marx himself, knows how to fully mitigate the problems discussed in his critiques of capitalism, anyone who does is not realistic or understand how complex human societies are.
