Il Tempo: Cortei e violenze, Valditara: "Chi minaccia i politici rappresenta la vera deriva fascista"

"Non c'è differenza fra coloro che oggi si esaltano minacciando ministri e politici di 'destra' e chi cento anni fa minacciava i politici antifascisti: sono  parenti stretti, anche se di opposto colore politico. La vera deriva "fascista' e antidemocratica oggi è rappresentata da costoro, da chi li sostiene, li vezzeggia e li giustifica. Una cosa è certa: non hanno alcun titolo per celebrare il 25 aprile". Lo scrive sui social il ministro dell'Istruzione Giuseppe Valditara dopo che una sua fotografia è stata appesa a testa in giù a Napoli al corteo per l'anniversario della Liberazione. "Condanno con forza gli insulti e le parole agghiaccianti rivolti alla Brigata Ebraica e ad altri esponenti nel corso del corteo per il 25 Aprile a Milano e i gravi episodi accaduti oggi nel corso delle manifestazioni: un atteggiamento di stampo totalitario, in aperto contrasto con i valori di questa giornata. Ai componenti della Brigata ebraica, agli iscritti Anpi feriti e a tutti coloro che sono stati violentemente attaccati, offesi ed esclusi, rivolgo la mia solidarietà", interviene il presidente della Camera dei deputati Lorenzo Fontana.
"Abrasione alla cornea: questo è quanto attestato dal personale del pronto soccorso oftalmico di Roma. Una lesione causata dallo spray urticante che ci è stato spruzzato questa mattina durante il corteo del 25 aprile da parte di militanti di Cambiare Rotta che ci hanno strappato la bandiera dell'Ucraina. È necessario dirlo con chiarezza: sono i gruppi violenti di estrema sinistra a tradire lo spirito di questa giornata", dichiara Matteo Hallissey, presidente di +Europa e Radicali Italiani. "Il 25 aprile appartiene a chi difende la libertà, non a chi la nega con la violenza".

I extend my solidarity to the members of the Jewish Brigade, to the Anpi members injured and to all those who were violently attacked, insulted, and excluded,” intervenes the President of the Chamber of Deputies, Lorenzo Fontana. “Corneal abrasion: this is what attested by the staff of the ophthalmic emergency department in Rome. An injury caused by stinging spray that was sprayed at us this morning during the April 25th parade by members of Cambiare Rotta who tore our Ukrainian flag from us. Il Tempo: Aggressione a Roma, furia rossa contro le bandiere ucraine: "Fascisti"

Momenti di tensione al corteo del 25 aprile, a Roma, quando alcuni manifestanti con bandiere ucraine sono stati cacciati e spinti al grido "Via i fascisti dal corteo". Le bandiere sono state strappate e c'è stato un acceso diverbio tra alcuni manifestanti con la polizia intervenuta per separarli. "Siete dei nazisti" l'accusa di alcuni partecipanti al corteo ufficiale, mentre i pro Ucraina si allontanano cantando "Bella Ciao". Insomma, un vero e proprio cortocircuito. 
È accaduto Porta San Paolo durante la fase di raduno dei partecipanti al corteo. Un gruppo di attivisti, tra cui il presidente di +Europa Matteo Hallissey, è arrivato in piazza esponendo bandiere dell'Ucraina, ma ha incontrato l'opposizione di esponenti dell'area comunista e dei movimenti dell'estrema sinistra già presenti sul posto. Nel confronto si sono registrati momenti di scontro e, secondo quanto riferito, sarebbe stato utilizzato anche spray urticante.
"È inammissibile che in una giornata come questa gruppi violenti si approprino della piazza e decidano chi può farne parte o meno", ha detto ad Agi Hallissey, presidente di Più Europa e di Radicali Italiani. "Siamo scesi in piazza per ricordare chi oggi continua a resistere per la propria libertà, sfilando con le bandiere dell'Ucraina e della Palestina. Prima ancora che il corteo partisse, militanti di Cambiare Rotta, Potere al Popolo e altri gruppi antagonisti ci hanno assalito, strappandoci le bandiere ucraine", ha detto. "Mi hanno spruzzato lo spray al peperoncino negli occhi a una distanza molto ravvicinata. È stato dolorosissimo: per una decina di minuti non sono riuscito a vedere nulla", il suo racconto. Dopo il primo intervento delle forze dell'ordine e del personale sanitario sul posto, Hallissey è stato trasferito al centro oftalmico di Piazzale degli Eroi per accertamenti. "Ora sto andando in ospedale per fare tutti i controlli del caso: ho riportato problemi alla visione", ha concluso. "Questa dovrebbe essere una giornata di tutti, non un luogo dove gruppi organizzati esercitano violenza e decidono chi ha il diritto di manifestare".

Moments of confrontation occurred during the exchange, and, according to reports, tear gas was also used.

“It is unacceptable that violent groups appropriate the square and decide who can or cannot participate on this day,” Hallissey, president of Più Europa (More Europe) and Radicali Italiani (Italian Radicals), told Agi. “We came to the square to remember those who today continue to resist for their freedom, marching with Ukrainian and Palestinian flags. Even before the procession started, militants from Cambiare Rotta (Change Course), Potere al Popolo (Power to the People), and other antagonistic groups attacked us, tearing our Ukrainian flags from us,” he said. “They sprayed pepper spray in my eyes at a very close range. It was incredibly painful: for about ten minutes I couldn’t see anything,” his account. After the initial intervention of law enforcement and medical personnel, Hallissey was transferred to the Piazzale degli Eroi ophthalmological center for examination. “Now I’m going to the hospital to undergo all necessary tests: I’ve had problems with my vision,” he concluded. “This should be a day for everyone, not a place where organized groups exercise violence and decide who has the right to protest.”

Momenti di tensione nel corso della manifestazione promossa dall’Anpi in Piazza di Porta San Paolo a Roma quando un gruppo di circa 10 manifestanti dei Radicali italiani e +Europa con bandiere dell’Ucraina hanno raggiunto la Piramide Cestia. Sono intervenute immediatamente le forze dell’ordine. Secondo le ricostruzioni della polizia, alcuni manifestanti di Cambiare Rotta hanno fatto uso di spray urticante anche in direzione di operatori delle forze dell’ordine in abiti civili. Attualmente la situazione è tornata alla normalità con l’allontanamento del gruppo di manifestanti, monitorati dalle forze dell’ordine.
“Durante la nostra partecipazione alla manifestazione siamo stati aggrediti da fascisti con le bandiere rosse: ci hanno picchiati e ci hanno spruzzato addosso spray al peperoncino” hanno critto in una nota in una nota Filippo Blengino e Patrizia De Grazia, dei Radicali Italiani. “Il nostro Presidente, Matteo Hallissey, in questo momento è in ambulanza, soccorso dal personale del 118. Insieme a militanti radicali e a Ivan Grieco, siamo stati poi allontanati dal corteo solo perché avevamo con noi bandiere ucraine e di altri popoli oppressi. Un gesto vergognoso contro chi, da sempre, partecipa alle lotte antifasciste. Esigiamo una netta presa di distanza da parte dell’Anpi: il diritto di manifestare alla Festa della Liberazione appartiene a tutti. Questa vergogna non ha precedenti. Il fascismo è qui”.

Moments of tension occurred during the demonstration promoted by the Anpi in Piazza di Porta San Paolo in Rome when a group of approximately 10 protesters from Radicali Italiani and +Europa, carrying Ukrainian flags, reached the Cestia Pyramid. Police immediately intervened. According to police reconstructions, some protesters from Cambiare Rotta used tear gas, even towards police officers in civilian clothing. Currently, the situation has returned to normal with the removal of the group of protesters, monitored by law enforcement.

“During our participation in the demonstration, we were attacked by fascists with red flags: they beat us and sprayed us with pepper spray,” Filippo Blengino and Patrizia De Grazia of Radicali Italiani lamented in a statement. “Our President, Matteo Hallissey, is currently in an ambulance, assisted by the 118 personnel. Together with Radical militants and Ivan Grieco, we were subsequently removed from the procession solely because we had with us Ukrainian flags and flags of other oppressed peoples. A shameful gesture against those who, from time immemorial, have participated in anti-fascist struggles. Migliaia di persone hanno sfilato nel centro di Roma per dire il “no sociale” al referendum sulla riforma costituzionale del 22 e 23 marzo, per dire no alla guerra e al governo Meloni. Il corteo, organizzato dal sindacato Usb, da Potere al Popolo, dai movimenti studenteschi come Cambiare Rotta e Osa, è partito da piazza della Repubblica intorno alle 15 e ha raggiunto piazza San Giovanni. “Intanto diciamo no al referendum che ci sarà fra una settimana – dichiara Guido Lutrario, dell’esecutivo nazionale Usb – diciamo anche no alla guerra, soprattutto perché c’è di fatto un sostegno politico, non c’è una condanna esplicita, il governo ha un atteggiamento complice nei confronti del conflitto”.
Durante il corteo sono stati bruciati dei cartelli raffiguranti Giorgia Meloni che tiene al guinzaglio il ministro della Giustizia Carlo Nordio, oltre che delle foto di Netanyahu, di Trump e della bandiera statunitense. In piazza anche una barella con l’impersonificazione “malata” della Costituzione, circondata da finti medici. “La Costituzione è molto fiacca – racconta una delle organizzatrici della rappresentazione – abbiamo il virus del fascismo, la febbre del capitalismo e quindi per salvarla andremo a votare no”.

Thousands of people marched through the center of Rome to say “no” to the social referendum on the constitutional reform of March 22nd and 23rd, to say no to war and to the Meloni government. The procession, organized by the union Usb, Potere al Popolo, and student movements such as Cambiare Rotta and Osa, started from Piazza della Repubblica around 3 p.m. and reached Piazza San Giovanni. “Meanwhile, we say no to the referendum that will take place in a week – declares Guido Lutrario, of the national executive of Usb – we also say no to war, especially because there is actually political support, there is no explicit condemnation, the government has a complicit attitude towards the conflict.”

Un'immagine con la premier Giorgia Meloni che tiene al guinzaglio il ministro della Giustizia Carlo Nordio, raffigurato con la museruola, è stata bruciata durante il corteo in corso a Roma per il No al referendumsulla riforma della giustizia. Una seconda immagine data alle fiamme rappresenta invece la premier che stringe la mano al primo ministro israeliano Benjamin Netanyahu: sotto lo slogan "No al vostro genocidio, 75mila civili uccisi, 2 milioni di sfollati". È avvenuto tutto in un attimo quando il corteo aveva raggiunto piazza dell'Esquilino. I manifestanti, non contenti evidentemente, hanno poi incendiato anche due cartelloni, uno dove era rappresentata la bandiera degli Stati Uniti e uno con la fotografia del presidente americano Donald Trump. Nello stesso momento un gruppo di manifestanti ha esposto uno striscione con su scritto "Contro le aggressioni imperialiste-Difendere Cuba socialista".
Alla manifestazione promossa da Potere al Popolo, hanno aerito diverse realtà, dai collettivi studenteschi (come Osa e Cambiare Rotta) ai movimenti per la Palestina tra cui il Movimento Globale a Gaza, fino ai movimenti di lotta per la casa, i centri sociali e l'Usb. Tra gli slogan scanditi dai manifestanti che si sono dati appuntamento a piazza della Repubblica "vota no, Giorgia Meloni vattene" ma anche "Giù le mani dall'Iran" e "Giù le mani da Cuba socialista" e pure "Crosetto torna a Dubai". Ad aprire il corteo lo striscione "No al referendum, no alla guerra, no al governo liberticida" firmato dal "Comitato per il no sociale". A seguire lo striscione di Potere al Popolo con su scritto "Diciamo no all'Italia peggiore, no alla guerra, no al governo Meloni". Alcuni manifestanti mostrano manifesti con la foto della premier Meloni che stringe la mano del primo ministro israeliano Benjamin Netanyahu, le foto di Bossi, Salvini e Santanchè con la scritta "diciamo no all'Italia peggiore". Tra le bandiere, oltre a quelle di Potere al Popolo, anche quelle di Cuba, Venezuela e Iran e la bandiera della Pace.
