I spent like an hour troubleshooting Steam locking up my whole computer (NixOS) when I turned on my Steam Controller.

I tried everything including rebooting.

I am still don't have a full RCA, but unplugging the puck and plugging it back in seemed to resolve the issue and it's not happened again. I can't find anyone else reporting this, I might make a steam bug report.
