Il tempo ‘clemente’ che si è registrato in occasione della domenica delle Palme è già un ricordo. Malgrado la settimana sia partita all’insegna di cieli sereni e con una temperatura non eccessivamente rigida, nei prossimi giorni assisteremo a un’ennesima svolta con l’arrivo, da nord, di una massa d’aria fredda che preannuncia un nuovo colpo di coda dell’inverno.

Stando ai modelli di previsione meteorologica, al Nord già da domani si assisterà a qualche velatura, con le nuvole che di ora in ora si faranno più decise e porteranno le prime precipitazioni. Piogge che sulle Alpi porteranno nuove nevicate che, secondo quanto riferiscono gli esperti, porteranno i fiocchi a cadere fino a quote collinari.
Ma è al Centro-Sud che il clima appare più instabile e ‘nervoso’. Già nel pomeriggio ci saranno le prime avvisaglie, fino al peggioramento che ci sarà in serata quando si verificheranno piogge sparse e temperature in picchiata. Secondo le rilevazioni, infatti, in calo termico potrà essere anche di 4-6 gradi sotto la media del periodo.
Tra domani e mercoledì entra assisteremo a un ulteriore peggioramento a causa di un vortice depressionario che si è piazzato tra Calabria e Sicilia. Un fenomeno che causerà piogge diffuse, con frequenti temporali improvvisi, e perfino neve a quote insolitamente basse per il periodo ossia dai 600-700 metri.
Nel weekend la svolta
Ma non dovremo rassegnarci a questo inverno fuori stagione. Già perché qualcosa si inizia a muovere, e infatti a partire dalla seconda parte della settimana l’instabilità perderà forza, seppur lentamente.
E nel weekend dovrebbe arrivare l’atteso cambio di passo con un promontorio anticiclonico che si allungherà verso la Penisola, esportando un generale miglioramento del tempo che si tradurrà in meno piogge, più sole, e un clima finalmente primaverile.

Despite the week starting under serene skies and with a temperature not excessively cold, we will witness another turn of events in the coming days with the arrival, from the north, of a cold air mass that foreshadows a new winter resurgence.
Weather: The winter resurgence is not yet over
According to meteorological forecast models, in the North, starting tomorrow, there will be some gusts of wind, with clouds becoming more defined hour by hour and bringing the first precipitation. Rains in the Alps will bring new snowfalls that, according to experts, will cause the flakes to fall down to valley levels.
But it is in the Center-South that the climate appears most unstable and “nervous.” Already in the afternoon, there will be the first signs, leading to deterioration in the evening when scattered rains and temperatures will drop. According to observations, the thermal drop could be 4-6 degrees below the average for the period.
Between tomorrow and Wednesday, we will witness a further deterioration due to a depression vortex that has settled between Calabria and Sicily. A phenomenon that will cause widespread rain, with frequent sudden thunderstorms, and even snow at unusually low altitudes for the period, i.e., from 600-700 meters.
Weekend Turnaround
But we shouldn’t resign ourselves to this off-season winter. Already because something is starting to move, and indeed, starting from the second part of the week, instability will lose strength, albeit slowly.
And in the weekend, the awaited change of pace should arrive with an anticyclone ridge extending towards the Peninsula, exporting a general improvement in the weather that will translate into less rain, more sunshine, and a climate finally springtime.
