I'm finding a pulse oximeter helpful for managing anxiety breathing. When I feel like I can't catch my breath, seeing that my O2 sats are fine banishes the worry that the sensation might be objectively true, and I can relax and lower my pulse. Watching my BPM go down reinforces my agency in managing the symptoms.
