I'm gonna try something else to help control stress due to #adhd
OVERPLANNING
I found as new things were added to my plate, even if they were benign, they gave me more and more stress.
I kept fearing that I would drop the ball and not get any of them done, so I filled my mind with them thinking of them over and over.
And it made it hard to sleep. And I was constantly saying "Oh, and I have to do that."
And even when I thought of writing it down, I thought, but what if I lose my book, or what if I haven't thought of everything.
I have a very busy schedule for the next couple months, so I am going to actually try planning lots of details.
Of course, I am not sure if I do this on paper or computer, but I plan to begin with the most urgent things first.
Then things that support them like set up times, and clothing.
I'll tell you how it goes.
