<p>Hongarije verstoort wederom plannen van de EU om Oekraïne te helpen in de oorlog tegen Rusland. De Hongaarse premier Viktor Orbán heeft gisteren tijdens de EU-top vermeld bij zijn veto te blijven om een lening van 90 miljard aan Oekraïne te blokkeren. Volgens Harmen Krul, fractiesecretaris en EU-woordvoerder van de CDA-fractie in de Tweede Kamer, zijn we dan maar weinig opgeschoten.</p>

Übrigens beteiligt sich Tschechien am Veto gegen das Geld für die Ukraine.
Selbst wenn Orban hoffentlich nicht wieder gewählt wird - und der einen Verlust auch anerkennt, gehen die Probleme in der EU weiter, solange es ein Veto gibt, dann mit Tschechien, auch auf Putins Seite.

Die EU will den Eindruck erwecken, dass sie einig und handlungsfähig ist.
Ist sie aber nicht und außerhalb der EU wissen es Trump, Putin, Xi und alle anderen.
Aber es ist nicht nur Ungarn, sondern auch Tschechien, das gegen die Zahlungen an die Ukraine vom Veto Gebrauch macht.
EU-Erweiterung darf es mMn erst wieder geben, wenn es kein Veto mehr gibt.

@rodlux In the upcoming French elections the National Rally leader Le Pen will claim the Elysee Palace and will do something similar, then will the #France be kicked out? What about #AfD? When it forms a government in #Deutschland and does what #Orban is doing now. Then will #Germany be kicked out too?

Exclusionist approach will not work. It is one of the reasons why #EU and #Europe is in the mess that is.

It is time to end the #veto. Simple majority rules and should be binding on all.

W kontekście veta ustawy o SAFE chciałbym zauważyć, że obecnie Polska wydaje więcej na armię niż Izrael, czy Ukraina nie mówiąc już o Turcji. Wydaje mi się, że nie mielibyśmy większych szans w starciu z tamtymi państwami.

Wolałbym, żeby zamiast kłócić się z którego koszyka trzeba dosypać kolejne prawie 200mld PLN, politycy skupili się na tym jak wykorzystać to co już wydajemy. Wojna na Ukrainie trwa 4 lata, z roku na rok zwiększamy budżet na wojsko, czy w tym czasie nasze możliwości obronne jakkolwiek się zwiększyły?
