Il Fatto Quotidiano: Il New York Times su Giorgia Meloni: “La lunga luna di miele con gli italiani è finita”

Il New York Times certifica la fine della “improbabile e lunga luna di miele” degli italiani con Giorgia Meloni. Il principale quotidiano statunitense torna a parlare della presidente del Consiglio italiana, delle conseguenze del referendum e del suo rapporto “privilegiato” con Donald Trump che adesso si è rivelato “un punto debole“. Dopo il voto sulla riforma della giustizia il Nyt – come altri giornali interazionali – aveva già sottolineato l’importanza del voto sulla riforma della giustizia: Meloni “sembrava imbattibile, una sconfitta a sorpresa ha incrinato la sua aura”, titolava il quotidiano il 24 marzo scorso.
Adesso il commento è affidato a un’opinione, un Guest Essay, firmata da una giornalista italiana, Anna Momigliano. Il titolo, anche in questo caso, è abbastanza eloquente: “Come Giorgia Meloni è caduta sulla Terra“. Dopo avere passato in rassegna i primi tre anni di governo dove la leadership della premier “è sembrata incrollabile“, l’articolo si concentra sul rapporto tra Meloni e Trump: “essere una figura di spicco del presidente americano può rivelarsi anche un punto debole”, viene sottolineato.
Così con un presidente Usa “diventato sempre più inviso in Europa” e sempre meno apprezzato anche in Italia – dove l’opinione pubblica “è fortemente contraria alla guerra in Iran” – è arrivato il referendum che, si legge, “si è trasformato in un voto di fiducia al governo della Meloni”. L’alta partecipazione degli elettori e la vittoria del No hanno così sancito ufficialmente la sconfitta e “improvvisamente Meloni è apparsa vulnerabile e l’opposizione ha colto l’occasione”.
Il New York Times ricorda che il governo Meloni è riuscito, per anni, a “sopravvivere” a scandali e a inchieste che hanno interessato i suoi membri. Ma adesso “l’improbabile e lunga luna di miele è finita”, costringendo la premier a far dimettere – tra gli altri – anche la ministra del Turismo Daniela Santanché. Un’altra conferma che qualcosa è cambiato.

The New York Times certifies the end of the “improbable and long honeymoon” of Italians with Giorgia Meloni. The leading U.S. newspaper returns to discussing the Prime Minister of Italy, the consequences of the referendum, and her “privileged” relationship with Donald Trump, which has now turned out to be “a weakness.” After the vote on the judicial reform, the NYT – like other international newspapers – had already emphasized the importance of the vote on the judicial reform: Meloni “seemed unbeatable, a surprise defeat has cracked her aura,” the newspaper headlined on March 24th.

Now the commentary is entrusted to an opinion piece, a Guest Essay, signed by an Italian journalist, Anna Momigliano. The title, as always, is quite revealing: “How Giorgia Meloni Fell from Grace.” After reviewing the first three years of government where the Prime Minister’s “leadership seemed unshakeable,” the article focuses on the relationship between Meloni and Trump: “being a prominent figure of the American president can also prove to be a weakness,” it is emphasized.

So, with a U.S. President “becoming increasingly unwelcome in Europe” and less appreciated even in Italy – where public opinion “is strongly opposed to the war in Iran” – the referendum arrived, which, one reads, “transformed into a vote of confidence in the Meloni government.” The high voter turnout and the victory of the No side thus officially sanctioned the defeat and “suddenly Meloni appeared vulnerable, and the opposition seized the opportunity.”

The New York Times recalls that the Meloni government has succeeded, for years, in “surviving” scandals and investigations that have affected its members. But now “the improbable and long honeymoon is over,” forcing the Prime Minister to dismiss – among others – also the Minister of Tourism Daniela Santanché. Another confirmation that something has changed.

LA NOTIZIA: Trump licenzia la procuratrice generale Pam Bondi: pesano gli Epstein files

Vittima indirettamente degli Epstein file, ma anche – o soprattutto – di Donald Trump. Il presidente degli Stati Uniti ha licenziato la ministra della Giustizia, ovvero la procuratrice generale, Pam Bondi. L’incarico verrà assunto a interim dal vice procuratore generale Todd Blanche, che è stato anche ex legale proprio di Trump.
La notizia è stata anticipata dai giornali statunitensi e poi confermata anche dal presidente Usa: “Vogliamo bene a Pam, che passerà a ricoprire un nuovo incarico nel settore privato, molto importante e necessario, che verrà annunciato a breve”. Nel suo post Trump ha parlato bene di Bondi, definendola “una grande patriota americana” e anche “un’amica leale” che ha “svolto un lavoro straordinario nel coordinare una massiccia repressione della criminalità”.

Ma il vero motivo di questo licenziamento lo rivela il New York Times, sostenendo che Trump avrebbe espresso malcontento per la gestione non solo del dipartimento di Giustizia in generale, ma soprattutto per la gestione del dossier su Epstein, ritenuta fallimentare. Hezbollah Terrorist Who Worked As A Pro-Terror Journalist Eliminated By Israel

While Israel has been working alongside Trump’s America in the military operations against the Islamic terrorist regime of Iran, it also has been fighting the Hezbollah terrorists north of Israel. One of the Hezbollah terrorists that Israel eliminated recently in Lebanon had also worked as an journalist who abused his media resources to expose presence of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) by the Israel-Lebanon border, according to a news report by The Jerusalem Post. Apart from the terrorist-journalist, Israel also eliminated two senior commanders of Hezbollah.

The IDF killed a Hezbollah terrorist who also worked for Lebanese news outlet Al Manar in an airstrike on Saturday morning.

Ali Hassan Shaib, a terrorist in the intelligence unit of Hezbollah’s Radwan Force, also worked for Al Manar, where he used his position as a journalist to expose IDF positions in southern Lebanon and along the border.

The IDF asserted that he maintained contact with terrorists within the Radwan Force and across the broader Hezbollah terrorist organization.

Notably, Al Manar is a Hezbollah-affiliated Lebanese news outlet and is used by the terror organization to disseminate propaganda.

Lebanese President Joseph Aoun condemned the incident, claiming that the strike “violates the most basic principles of international law, international humanitarian law, and the laws of war.”

“This is a blatant crime that violates all norms and conventions under which journalists are protected. We call on all international bodies to take action to stop what is happening on our soil,” Aoun added.

IDF kills senior Hezbollah commanders in overnight strikes – Additionally, the IDF carried out overnight strikes in Lebanon that killed two senior Hezbollah commanders and damaged dozens of terror sites across the country.

In a targeted strike in Beirut on Friday, the IDF said it eliminated Ayyoub Hussein Yaacoub, a senior figure in Hezbollah’s communications unit who previously held a key role in the organization’s rocket unit and was involved in directing launches toward Israel.

Yasser Mohammad Mubarak, another senior operative in the group’s communications unit, who also held a position in the rocket unit, was also killed, according to the IDF.

Separately, Israeli forces struck dozens of Hezbollah sites across southern Lebanon throughout the weekend, the military said, targeting weapons depots, launchers, and military infrastructure as part of ongoing efforts to degrade the group’s operational capabilities. The attacks were conducted from both air and sea in support of ground troops operating in the area.

On Saturday afternoon, the IDF issued an evacuation warning to several villages in southern Lebanon and urged residents to relocate north of the Zahrani River. The directive, announced by the IDF’s Arabic-language spokesperson, Col. Avichay Adraee, seems to apply to multiple areas, including Rashidieh, al-Bas, and Wadi Jilo.

I am not surprised at all that another Islamic terrorist did additional duty as a so-called journalist. Remember the Palestinian terrorists in Gaza who posed as journalists with those “Press” or “Media” signs on their front? Those guys and the Hezbollah terrorist-journalist are nothing more than Islamic terrorist propagandists pretending to be journalists. In short, they were blatant liars who spread misinformation, fear and genocidal content through traditional media channels and social media. They were trained to lie to the world and manipulate many to hate Israel while supporting Islamic terrorists. The sad fact is that corrupt mainstream news media outlets like CNN, Agence France-Presse (AFP), Reuters, the Associated Press (AP), The Washington Post, The New York Times and many others amplified the lies of the Islamic terrorist propagandists.
