Laatst las ik dat Proton mail "post-quantum encryption" ondersteunt. Ik heb mijn eigen mailprovider gevraagd wat de status is van de invoering van deze versleuteling. Ik kreeg het antwoord dat dat nu nog te vroeg is omdat de standaarden nog niet duidelijk zijn. Snijdt dat antwoord hout? If you believe that #tuta #fastmail or #startmail are immune from court orders, you are sorely mistaken. #proton #protonmail giving over payment and/or metadata under a court order is not a violation of their privacy policy, and is required by Swiss law. That also doesn’t mean they failed to still provided privacy. The content that was intended to be private is still encrypted and private as long as the password and #encryption keys remain unknown. 1/3

#askFedi who to use instead of gmail. I have a couple of domain names that I like using for family email. For the longest time I have been using a grandfathered google setup, but I'm feeling the call to leave them. I'm wondering if anyone has recommendations. I realize there will be cost, but I'm also not a business and know that there is minimal benefit to my family in this. I've considered #tuta #protonMail #startMail and even #fastmail but feel like they all have negatives.
