I am kind of shocked by how good a deal #Infomaniak is.

For cloud storage alone, it's 22 euro a year for 1tb of storage space, not including email storage, which is unlimited. You can bump that to 6tb, for 100 euro a year (yes...6).

That may be the best drive storage price I have seen anywhere, before factoring in the productivity suite, email and calendaring, video conferencing with transcription..

OK, donc la merdification d'Infomaniak continue.

Il y a quelques mois, ils m'ont soudainement retiré la possibilité d'ajouter des alias à mon mail (déportée sur une offre premium).

Aujourd'hui je m'aperçois que je n'ai plus accès au mode avancé de mes filtres Sieve (pareil, désormais faut pendre une offre supplémentaire).

Je commence un tout petit peu à en avoir plein le cul.

The announcement of #Infomaniak came just at the right time.
I wanted to stop using Nextcloud (mainly for motivation and its resource usage) and was looking at various alternatives.

I moved file syncing to Syncthing and experimented with Davis and Radicale for Cal/CardDAV.

However I want to share my calendar with various people without too many hoops and both weren't as smooth as Nextcloud was.

With their move to a foundation governing their "integrity" I decided to give them a serious try.
My mails are already hosted with them for a while.
We will see how it goes over the long time :)

Depuis que j’ai migré sur #Infomaniak, je me retrouve avec mes boites mails habituelles en IMAP. L’import a l’air de s’être pas trop mal passé, mais je ne suis pas fan de la gestion de ce protocole par #thunderbird.
J’ai figé les boites qui étaient en POP3 et je continue seulement en #webmail depuis la transition, ce qui implique aussi des limitations.

Là, je suis en train de me demander si #BetterBird ne serait pas mieux.
