Der ‘.’ wird ignoriert.

Ist das ein bekannter Bug? Und noch schlimmer, entweder hat die Wüstenrot Bausparkasse AG die falsche Mail Adresse eines andern Tobi’s oder diese Adresse ist wirklich vergeben 🤯

Ho chiesto a un’amica di mandarmi un’e-mail. Tempo fa le ho scritto con il mio indirizzo #mailbox quindi mi aspettavo un messaggio lì. E infatti ho aspettato.
Poi apro #gmail, che ho ancora per monitorare la mia presenza online (ogni tanto mi arrivano robe da account antichi e dimenticati.) La mail della mia amica era lì, ça va sans dir.
Non ce la farò MAI a far capire a chi mi sta intorno che non voglio usare prodotti Meta o Google.

estou mirando o borrador da declaración da renda e, entre outras cousas, inclúo as doazóns feitas a diferentes entidades que desgravan ao facer o cálculo (unicef, unrwa,...). Cada unha destas organizacións envíache un correo electrónico que inclúe unha ligazón a un pdf coa certificación da doazón realizada. Para ver ese documento non precisas credenciais, só premer na ligazón. Só se tes a ligazón podes acceder ao documento, sobrenténdese que só ti tes acceso ao teu correo.

Se esas organizacións (4 este ano) enviasen dito correo a unha conta de gmail (ou calquera outro provedor que non cifre a túa caixa de correo con claves que só ti posúes) o teu provedor de correo, e os 1315 partners con quen a comparte  , tería acceso á mesma información.

Google sabe que son un «antisionista» e que me da ansiedade ver os neniños morrer. Queda anotado, para cando fose necesario, sexa pedir un crédito para mercar un Tesla ao Banco Internacional de Israel na Diáspora; ou dicirlle ás outras 53 ONGs ás que non contribúo (e que lle pagan a google) que igual me poden chamar na hora da sesta para ver se me pillan de bo humor e me apiado dos seus neniños e lles fago tamén unha doazón.

Se esta mensaxe non che di nada entón, parabéns!!   Sigue vivindo feliz  , non coma outros  O mesmo podo dicir dos resultados de probas médicas, as avaliacións que recibes do traballo, as facturas do avogado laboralista, as cuotas do sindicato, a consulta para o tratamento psicolóxico, as tres veces que levaches ao neno ao médico este mes,o resumo dos gastos da tarxeta de crédito, o aviso de renovación do carné do puticlub ...só tes que mirar o teu correo. Menos mal que non tes nada que ocultar e llo contas todo a google, que non á túa parella.

In 2024, GMail discontinued their Basic HTML layout. Why? I have no idea. They were probably using the same lack of logic that Youtube used in 2017, when they shut down their mobile site, and that Facebook used in 2024, when they shut down their Basic Mobile site. After all, why keep something that's easy, uncluttered, and that actually works, both with and without screen readers? I absolutely hated GMail's Standard site, and switched to Thunderbird 102 (I still prefer that version) because of it, though I hadn't used an e-mail client since 2006. After being forced to use their main site to fix something the other day, I began looking for another e-mail provider with a basic/plain html version. I found it in Yahoo Mail! I had actually signed up for an account with them in 2023 but never really used it. Tonight, I reactivated my account and tried it. It's wonderful! Note: Basic Yahoo Mail is not the same as Old Yahoo. I had to switch to Old and then go to Basic from there. However, you may be able to access it by going here.

PS. I know that some other blind people use regular GMail, but quite honestly, I don't care. I shouldn't have to learn a whole new set of commands just to access my e-mail and have to deal with a million features that I don't need. One of my mottos is don't fix what's not broken. Oh, and to my Windows XP and 7 friends, Basic Yahoo Mail works there, too.
