Feeling flat.

I've done all my stuff with my kids for the weekend. My Monday support group is cancelled because of the #BankHoliday, and my Tuesday #OpenMic at #BristolOldDuke, I'm feeling discouraged, uninspired, and have nothing to work on, so probably just won't go.

Watching #MatildaDeAngelis in Lidia Poët, it took me a while to realise she was in Citadel.

I'm #PossiblyAutistic and #ProbablyADHD but only just discovering this and putting things together at the ripe age of 53.

Does anyone experience face blindness?

It's not that I don't recognise people that I know well, but everyone else seems to just be a "type".

Or sometimes I can even look at someone I know well, really look at them closely, and I feel like I don't know them.

A win this week was challenging an audit result for a trainee and having my challenge upheld. But the bigger win was a self discovery.
In sorting it all out I got very shouty and shaky when discussing it with my team. It was so unfair and made no sense.
Now I often get shouty and shaky in situations like this. But this week my brain pipes up “perhaps this is what overwhelm feels like for you”
Worth me thinking about I feel.

I think #AlexeiSayle said many good improvisational #comedians have about an hour or two of material that they can riff on, but #RobinWilliams had about 4 hours before he would start repeating himself.

I feel like I'm the same socially. I have a few things I can talk about, and then I start repeating myself:

* a story about my first boss buying a computer in 1973

* #race doesn't exist but #racists do

* any online course I'm studying

Also, I'm not funny.
