Haaretz reported that undercover Israeli police officers assaulted Palestinian lawyer Faisal Naama during a raid on his home, which was carried out following a noise complaint.

A police force stormed the house, and during the raid the lawyer was subjected to a violent physical assault. Security personnel used excessive force, leading to his hospitalization and multiple surgeries due to severe injuries and disfigurement to his body.

Naama said during a court hearing: “They stomped on my head, kicked me, said I was resisting arrest, and cursed me. Throughout the entire ride, they kept beating me and treated me like the worst kind of criminal.”
