I mention #food for human body all the time, but what do I mean by it? Here is my personal opinion, from real life experience.

The primary food for #OptimalHumanHealth is #animalfood. In essence, #meat, #organs, and animal #fat, possibly #eggs and #dairy.
I do not agree with pure #carnivore, nor pure #keto (tested both extensively). The best source of carbs seems to be ripe #fruit, possibly #honey.

I believe the worst food is #processedfood, followed by #grains, #legumes and other seeds.

I've had the greatest success with almost #carnivore too, except I leaned more into #PaulSaladino's #AnimalBasedDiet, so more into the fruit direction.
I'm now "sharing the wealth" with everyone seeking #OptimalHumanHealth, because I think everyone deserves to know how to be healthy, if they so choose.

#nutrients in #food, part two: vitamin K!

There are two main types: K1 and K2. The first is generally found in #plantfood, the second in #animalfood and in #fermented #plantfood, like #sauerkraut. We predominantly need K2. Yes, again!

Some sources of K2? 🫀 #organs (liver is king again), 🧀 #cheese, 🥚 #eggs, 🧈 #butter, 🥬 #fermented plant foods.

Did you know carotenoids in #plantfood are only the *precursors* to vitamin A? 😮
We need retinol, which is found in #animalfood. Yes, again! 🥕 Carrots aren't so awesome for eyes after all, as the conversion to retinol is *slow*. 🐌

So where to get the proper vitamin A for #OptimalHumanHealth? 🥚 #eggs and 🫀 #organs, such as #liver, are amazing sources.

Don't take my word for it, #wellbeing. The data is out there to be found.

After talking about #food for #OptimalHumanHealth, what can it even do? Why bother?

It tends to obliterate #ChronicIllnesses (also called diseases of civilization), or protect you from ever getting them.

Type 2 diabetes, skin issues, blood pressure, being overweight, asthma, arthritis, etc. Even cancer, to some extent. These all tend to respond strongly to #nutrition, which is not that surprising, as they are very rare among #hunters.

Hope this finds #health and #wellbeing seekers well.

Why are we still #hunters and require such #food for #OptimalHumanHealth?

1. Look at your body. Is it more suited to tilling soil or throwing spears? What gives you backache?
2. We have gallbladders. Yes, we are made for eating #fat, rarely found in #plantfood, and always in #animalfood.
3. We have VERY acidic stomachs. We're built to digest mostly meat.
4. We have short intestines, made to digest very *efficient* food. That's #animalfood.

I invite you to think about it, seekers of #wellbeing.

What #food grants us #OptimalHumanHealth for #health, #wellbeing and #LifeEnergy? Depends on who you ask. I'll give you my reality-tested answer.

Many #wellbeing seekers are confused on how often to eat for #OptimalHumanHealth. I'll offer a simple answer directly from Mother Nature:

Eat when hungry. Eat till you're *comfortably* full. Do not eat until hungry again.

Yet #nutrition teaches us to eat very often, and to eat even when our body tells us NO (e.g. when ill). #fasting is forbidden. How deep must we fall before we start listening to our bodies again?

NB: above principle does fail when we consume hyperpallatable #ProcessedFoods.

As a follow-up to my #sourdough post, I'd like to offer a few more words on why it makes sense for #wellbeing and #OptimalHumanHealth.

🍞 Grains, along with 🫘 legumes, nuts, and other seeds, are the most heavily defended plant foods. Gluten works towards leaky gut. Exorphins penetrate blood-brain barrier, and offer drug-like effects. Phytates steal minerals from you (even from other foods). Protease inhibitors impact digestion …
