Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Ishaq Dar, has said that Iran is upset that Pakistanis have surpassed even Saudi Arabia, and that no one should view this negatively.

Ishaq Dar explicitly stated that the defense agreement between Riyadh and Islamabad is a significant milestone and that Saudi Arabia is a forbidden territory for him.

Referring to Iran’s attacks on US military bases in the Gulf countries, Pakistan’s Foreign Minister said Israel is attacking Iran, but Tehran is targeting Islamic countries. However, Ishaq Dar did not mention the American bases in the Middle East that have been used to launch attacks on Iran.

Analysts say Pakistan is facing economic problems and is being forced to make deals with its neighbors to obtain financial concessions from the West or the Arab world.
