About once a year I need to figure out which #NVivo licence we are subscribed to.
As the company does not have a clear version history table on their homepage, this necessitates a visit to their user forum to find the entries w the info I need:
"Mate, v14 comes after v20!" 😉
I hated NVivo so much as a qualitative researcher, I left academia to make something better. Today marks 10 years since we released Quirkos!

I'm not sure how it's snuck up on us, but Quirkos is 10 years old today! It was on October 8th, 2014 that we released the first public version of Quirkos, at a party at a pub in Leith, I pressed the 'upload' button, surrounded by developers, friends, and researchers
I wanted to share that I'm running some special online sessions in NVivo training. They are 2 hours, twice a week, and run for 4 weeks. Maximum of 10 people - so small numbers.
The 4 training sessions are recorded and accessible for up to 8 weeks after the course, and the other 4 sessions are basically a Zoom room where everyone comes together and has an opportunity to work on their own data.
The aim is that people can walk away with a clear idea on how to use and apply NVivo for their data analysis.
Here is a link to the sessions:
