@drajt I used #GNOME years ago and never liked it, I preferred using #LXDE back then, when it was deprecated I switched to #XFCE, then I discovered #KDE when I tried out #OpenSUSE and have never stopped using KDE since then I am pretty happy with it and never had any problem with it outside #Debian

heck even firefox barely works here since some months, the text cursor disappears, the clicks in the browser tabs stop working etc. :(

32 bit #Debian 12 with #LXDE desktop running on an old Toshiba Core Duo laptop with only 2 GB RAM.

An #ewaste laptop made usable again.

@Pierre_de_BA C'est chouette ça ! Et #LXDE, c'est un peu moche (très Windows 98 like) mais parfaitement léger et fonctionnel comme desktop !

Il existe des distributions éducatives (comme #PrimTux ou #Edubuntu) mais #Lubuntu sera plus polyvalent et tu peux aussi directement installer des logiciels éducatifs comme #Gcompris...

I was finally able to edit Lxdm greeter & used elementary os theme. EXCEPT, I switched the elementary.png file for a fedora.png (png=picture file) & I didn't actually look at the size of it. So when I logged in the fedora logo was HUMONGUS and the login window was pushed off the screen 😂
