It was a nice day to run 50 miles in Fort Ord, outside of Salinas. My goal was nine hours, but I finished in 9:17. I'm still happy with that time.

Strava says I did pretty good on my first 50k.
It was cold at the start, but the sun came out and the first half was pretty pleasant. Then passing rain showers started, and the second half was cold and damp. For me, the last 5k was pretty miserable.
