Tried to bicycle to Peterson and the wind kicked my butt and I wasn't dressed for a much colder wind than I was prepared for.

Of course it was a headwind both ways.

I have a cousin who did much more racing type bicycling in Indiana and he said they never said the "W" word because it seemed to cause it to happen whenever anyone said it.

Cataloging and tagging old photos today, I was surprised that this was my earliest digital photo (2004) of one of my bicycles. I'd been bicycling and sometimes using the bus for nine years by this time.

This was the old "Circuit City" building. I miss when retail stores had actual live experts on their products selling them.

Used the Rushford bicycle repair stand to work on my bicycle. The air pump works after not working last Summer or Fall. I think they replaced the whole unit.

Gravel road perfection. The groads of Rensselaer County NY are phenomenal. Mostly low traffic class 1 gravel through rural areas dotted with farms. The terrain isn't too steep but you will get some short 20% climbs. It's punchy to say the least.
