Anne LienchenHeute früh war ich mit Ylvi trainieren. Schon die Fahrt zum Trainingsort war spektakulär. Die Sonne, der Nebel auf den Feldern, das gelbe Laub an den Bäumen. Wundervoll. Und dann war da noch die wunderbare @hundimbild , die sich extra am Samstag früh aus dem Bett geschält hat, um Fotos zu machen. Und jetzt schaut euch das an! Ich kann mich gar nicht entscheiden, welches ich zuerst posten soll.

I use something like the modern, and much simpler version of the continuous bell, really suited for bumpier (dirt) terrain:
Requires a shoulder wiggle to dingle on asphalt. Most hikers appreciate it.
I do like to look at that 1919 catalog and think about how many of our bicycle technologies were already relatively perfected then. Tubeless tire technology, tire plugs, integrated headsets, racks, bells, even anatomic saddles with central cut-outs were all there. I just bought a new bike a week ago, the #Hudski Dualist, which proudly calls itself an #ATB (All Terrain Bicycle) and it even further blurs the lines between #gravel and #MTB It looks a lot like my 191X Mead Ranger Special.

I wish I had more time, and I wish not. The last couple of months passed so fast, that I feel I'm not ready yet...again. I wish I could do more cycling, more stairs climbing, two-three more visits in the mountains, lift some more weight to get my body more ready. I could always do more, but at some point there must be a sign "its good enough". The plane ticket to Kathmandu is a great sign.
Now the waiting starts to the moment I can finally set feet, and wheels, on the trail, see the mountains, breath deeply and say "bistari bistari" (slowly, slowly).
Last week in front of me. Departure next Friday. Some cycling, some gym, stretching, not getting hurt. And packing :-)
