Attached: 1 audio So here's the new noise my bike is making as of yesterday. It's not the freehub, of course, it's the tick. Here's what I know: It is _definitely_ a once-per-wheel-revolution noise. My wheels have colourful bits and the rate is 100% consistent, once per rotation. It does NOT repeat - 0%, ever - if I put the bike on a stand and spin the wheels. It's just not there. It RARELY repeats - maybe one time in 10 - if I _push_ the bike. It happens about 80% of the time I'm on the bike. It will start and stop while riding, but something has to change - slope, turn, something like that. (1/? MORE FACTS AHEAD) #BikeRepair #BikeTooter

Today I won at Weather!
The forecast this morning was "Fine at first. Rain from afternoon, possibly heavy and thundery with hail."
I got a pleasant side to back wind biking into work, and I was able to leave the office half an hour early and got a swift back wind home. The roaring storm front with driving rain arrived just as I arrived home.
Yeah!
(This doesn't happen often, as the prevailing winds locally are head winds both ways.)
I hope everyone else local is inside somewhere safe and dry.
Went out for a little bike ride and discovered the sewing shop no longer exists; which is a shame as it's about the only non-chain shop I know of... knew of.
Anyway, stopped by the LBS to show off the new bike and have a chat, then did some shopping and stopped by the lake for lunch (I packed sandwiches), where I met a couple of pelicans who apparently also stopped by the lake for lunch; I saw one catch a fish in their giant bill before guzzling it down.
