I might have gotten a flat tire about 15 minutes into my ride this evening, but the annoyance of that was wiped away by the hilarity of catching up to a group of riders, one of which had his helmet on backwards!
The visor was covering the back of his neck and what would normally be the back of the helmet was sticking up off his forehead like a duck’s ass. 🤦♂️
I couldn’t believe his buddies didn’t tell him. They weren’t on crappy bikes either.

Bicycle helmets are incredibly good tools for reducing the chances of injury and death amongst cyclists involved in accidents. The largest effort should, however, not be put into increasing the adoption of helmets, but in creating a world where accidents are unlikely to begin with.
