By imposing page view limitations and blocking non-registered users from seeing any contents, he is drastically cutting into the reach of the platform, turning it into a closed echo chamber structured as a clear #classsociety. With paying checkmark holders on the top, the ordinary long-time users in the middle and unregistered folks being locked out entirely.

No doubt, the "British way of life"-talk and anti-immigration rhetoric of the Tories (and measurable parts of British society) are the seeds for this violence. For #Brexiteers and the #Top1Percent in the UK all this diversion is a great opportunity to muddy the water before the masses start questioning the disproportionate wealth and influence of the upper class.
