I don’t actually believe this because I have been experiencing adderall shortages regularly since 2011, but I guess it’s nice to see they aren’t trying to blame it on “overprescribing” when people who didn’t have access to mental healthcare got access because of telemedicine.

They added that this highlights “the vulnerability of US pharmaceutical manufacturing to international supply chain disruptions” and underscores “the need for policies that strengthen supply chain resilience.”
