An der Universität Zürich ist auf den 1.  August 2025 eine Professur für Germanistische Linguistik mit dem Schwerpunkt Semantik – Pragmatik – Interaktion (open rank) zu besetzen. Die künftige Stelleninhaberin bzw. der künftige Stelleninhaber soll exzellente, international sichtbare Forschung im Bereich der germanistischen Linguistik geleistet haben und über Lehrerfahrung verfügen. EinForschungsschwerpunkt im Bereich der sprachlichen Interaktion mit einer Perspektive auf Semantik und/oder Pragmatik ist Teil des Stellenprofils. Zusätzlich ist ein nachweisliches Interesse an empirisch-quantitativen Methoden für die Erforschung sprachlicher Interaktion erforderlich. In der Lehre soll die germanistische Linguistik mit Fokus auf die genannten Themen abgedeckt werden. Erwartet werden neben innovativen Forschungsimpulsen für das Fach die Zusammenarbeit in Forschung und Lehre mit anderen Professuren am Deutschen Seminar, an der Philosophischen Fakultät, dem Linguistik Zentrum Zürich (LiZZ), dem NCCR Evolving Language sowie mit nationalen und internationalen Institutionen. Vorausgesetzt werden eine zum Zeitpunkt der Bewerbung abgeschlossene Promotion im Fachgebiet der germanistischen Linguistik sowie weitere exzellente wissenschaftliche Publikationen. Entsprechend der Qualifikation der zu berufenden Person wird die Professur als Ordinariat, Extraordinariat oder als Assistenzprofessur mit Tenure Track besetzt. Das Deutsche Seminar, die Universität Zürich sowie der Hochschulstandort Zürich bieten ein anregendes Forschungs- und Lehrumfeld mit vielfältigen Möglichkeiten für fachlichen Austausch und Kooperation. Die Universität Zürich strebt eine Erhöhung des Frauenanteils und der Diversität in Forschung und Lehre an und bittet deshalb entsprechende qualifizierte Personen ausdrücklich um ihre Bewerbung.
