@Norobiik Issuing them at the same time was a hell of a propaganda trick. If they grant one and not the other they look pretty hypocritical. If they deny both they look pro-Hamas. If they approve both they will be called anti-semitic. Way to put the ICC in a no-win situation.

@mike805 Politically yes, it's a no win situation.

But the Hague ( ICC & ICJ) is supposed to be blind to politics, even more so than other courts. It's what gives them the ultimate moral authority on war crimes & genocide cases. People know this instinctively.

Which is why the pressure on them is so great now - from both sides of the Gaza War.
