Also super into food, dogs, street photog., travel, & I am #neurodiverse@bluespore I always had a strong interest in tech but switched to taking comp sci courses in uni too late to get a degree. I didn't want to get a PhD in biology and it wasn't viable to be a life-long laboratory technician, so my hand was kind of forced tbh
I think molecular bio translates REALLY well to programming - it's a similar type of systems/pathway thinking and a good understanding of experimental design has been useful in SO many parts of my (second) career
