Been using the Flow Lite 100 for about a day now, coming from a full mechanical keyboard, and apart from the layout being a bit different to what I'm used to, typing on this thing is just insanely nice.
It's this really nice midpoint between a mechanical keyboard and laptop keyboard (both experiences I like in different ways).
One thing I didn't realise I'd appreciate this much is that it's got more of a "creamy" click, which is really nice!
Switching to a split keyboard isnβt instant for most people.
But when it does clickβ¦ it really clicks, and there's no going back. β¨οΈβ¨
What was your experience like? Was it instant comfort or a slow transition?

I cannot imagine using any non-standard keyboard layout in software, as opposed to just getting a board that supports QMK/VIA[L] and doing all of that in the firmware itself.
I need my keyboard to perform exactly the same in the BIOS as it does when it wants the passphrase to decrypt the disk, as it does in the TTY, as it does graphical session, as it does in the VM.
If the budget for the entire setup is already set in stone, and I have to make cuts elsewhere in order to have that, then that's exactly what I'm gonna do and I'm not gonna think twice about it.
Edit: disk not biskβ¦
Okay, am I crazy, is a rhetorical question at this point; anyway: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FZGV71WM
I've become more certain than not that my current setup for the computer is a major contributing factor towards the neck pain. I'm not saying it caused it outright, and tbh, I highly doubt that. Anyway, I just really feel like jumping out of the frying pan and into the freezer on this one.
Thoughts? Best of all, experience?
I've been using one tiling window manager or another since 2020 (or now Niri, if we're being that pedantic), I've been typing in Dvorak since 2021, and I would be going from 108 keys to thisβ¦ if any of that mattersβ¦
Thank you.

Now sure what I will write here but I guess I will figure it our later.#Question for all you #MechanicalKeyboards aficionados out there: #QWERTY or #Colemak Mod-DH?
Situation: my 10yo kid will begin mid-school in September and wants my #ErgoDash (see picture) for his own computer (that I still have to buy!).
ErgoDash is currently configured with a QWERTY layout, customized with Italian accented letters as per picture.
Should I reconfigure it to Colemak Mod-DH, instead, before giving him the keeb?
