Good morning Fellow Travellers on the Galactic Spiral Arm 🌌 I'm up with the parrots again today after a very early night - afternoon really - yesterday. This cold, which I thought had shifted, came back with a vengeance and two hospital trips in one day proved too much for me on top of that, so I was gonked out in bed at four thirty 🥴 Feeling much better for it today thankfully, but my battery is still very flat, so I don't think I'll be doing much more today other than resting.

Ziggy is sitting in my hand, head upside down, looking at me intently and grumbling away to herself. I love it when they really look at you. You can see in their wee eyes how focused they are on you, as though you are the only thing in their world at that moment. It's very special 😊

Right. "Come! Come!" has been demanded so I'm going to sort her out and then probably head back to bed for the day otherwise I might crash. Hopefully I can be more productive tomorrow!

Good morning you lovely lot 💕 Both Grant and I are up early with the parrots today as I have the first of two hospital appointments at 8:30 for another session of light treatment on my face. I'm hoping this will be the last one, but it will depend on what happens when they check the gel under ultraviolet a few hours later when we make the second trip. Still, I have shiny new face skin from all of this so who needs Botox eh? 😁

Crochet was better yesterday. Things worked as planned and the muses were kind. It's amazing the difference a day makes. I should finish up the competition toy today now all going well between hospital visits. I also need to fit in some Parrot Kitchen though, so we'll see how the day pans out.

Grant has decided to go back to bed for an hour now that the parrots are cleaned and fed. Zigs and I will cuddle for a bit and then I'll do a large coffee and some Stardew Valley while I wake myself up properly 😊

Good morning everyone 🌞 I'm up early with the parrots today, and the bats, which have finally arrived 🎉 We were getting worried there for a bit as they were late getting here this year, but as you can see from the video they are finally here for their breeding season 😊

Ziggy had settled into my hand for a wee cuddle after biting me hard on the neck and hand just a moment ago for what transgression I haven't a clue. It's hormones time and she's definitely worked up, one moment as sweet as can be and the next a little green demon. 🥴 I often wonder if the big dinosaurs underwent the same hormonal changes. Can you imagine, a bunch of T-Rex running around ripping lumps out of one another just for looking at each other the wrong way! 😁

Plans for today are solid crochet after having very little time yesterday again due to a hold up with Ziggy's meds that has us waiting at the vet for ages. I *will* finish the competition toy this week so help me!

Good morning everyone 🌄 I'm up later today as Grant got up for the parrots. I spent most of yesterday in bed. I managed to crochet for about an hour, but then I started to feel so exhausted I had to go lie down, so plans for the day were pretty much out of the window 🥴

I'm feeling a lot better this morning after loads of rest. I'm as croaky as an old frog, but much brighter I'm glad to say. ☺️

So, plans are again to crochet today and also start unpacking some of the dvds out of our shelf in the living room as we are going to have to move it out of there - I'm up and down like a yo-yo every evening now trying to get Toby to stop pulling the dvds out and throwing them around the place, and it's tiring me out too. There are literally boxes of parrot toys available for him to play with, but he's only interested in wires and human toys 🤷🏻‍♀️ Grant already had to empty the bookshelf displaying his collectables for the same reason. Eventually our living room is going to be devoid of anything of ours. Parrots eh? 😁

Good morning my Fine Fedi Friends 💕 I'm up early with the parrots again this morning, but I've woken up with a full blown head cold. Grant had it a week ago and I thought I was going to get away with not catching it, but alack alas I am a sneezy, wheezy mess today 🥴

Still, the parrots can always cheer me up. This morning Ziggy has been chuckling away and yelling "My goodness!" at me, blowing me a kiss and then chuckling again. When I put the fruit on Jadie's flat perch a little rough voice from the shadows asked "Where's the grape?" and I had to explain to her once again that we don't do grapes at breakfast 😊

Plans for today are crochet and watching stuff..I have a couple of days left to finish the competition toy I reckon and a custom crochet toy order - the first in a while - came in on Thursday so I will need to make a start on that too. I will probably end up watching people play Stardew Valley again no doubt as I'm finding it difficult to settle on what I want to watch right now.
