FanCityKnits 🇺🇦🧶Because of vacation there's a lot of crafting time (yes, I take my #spinning wheel on vacation, it's a travel wheel after all).
So far I've spun those two bobbins - they are from the bottom left spiral of fiber. Each has two layers - one very fine merino, the other silk merino. Each bobbin is one of those layers.
The singles are extremely fine, a 3ply will probably make a (light) fingering yarn.
Just vague plans what to do with the finished yarn.

KymberlyReplaced the snapped cotton spinning wheel drive band with a nylon one and gave the joints a good oil. It’s running beautifully now.
Had to test on one of the advent fibers from Golden Fleece Studio … Starry Night - merino, eri silk, firestar (sparkle!) and bamboo. Very soft and silky.
Plan to spin the rest of last Christmas advent fibers in #TourDeFleece in July.
