The completed “Daybreak” socks are so cosy! I mostly followed the pattern but made a size modification to ensure a comfortable fit. I am very happy with how they turned out. ☺️

I also got my new toy (Addi Crasytrio) in the post yesterday so of course immediately cast on a sock to test them out. I am still trying to learn the best grip for knitting with them but I am enjoying them so far.

I have a feeling the rest of my knitting time this weekend will be sock related…

Okay, so for the 4th (5th?) time I've frogged my current WIP back to the end of the previous section. This is what you get for making things up as you go along. But I DID NOT LIKE IT and it would have been STARING AT ME in SHAME, so I had to frog it.

I'm loth to say "Never again!" because that's what I said about the previous frogging of this WIP.

At least the first half of it is nice.

#knitting progress! it's at about 39 cm from the middle and I am aiming for _60_ before i finish off. thinking I'm not going squeeze it in as a bonus #meMadeMay this year.

I did two full rounds of lace/knit, lace/knit today, and that's enough for my wrist.

Sometimes I just sort of stare at what I've made for a while. Like... I did this? with my hands and some sticks and string? How freaking cool is that.

The busier my hands are, the more Purl wants me to pet her. If I offer to pet her, I am turned down, but pick up something to keep my hands busy and suddenly she wants all the attention.

So of course working on the crocheted steek reinforcement for my sweater has summoned her.
