@ashwrites the main reason for sensors in home appliance should be fault prevention, with Internet connectivity [s/inference/not needed] except for remote diagnostics when needed. Like many in tech, I am fascinated by the Apple #VisionPro and #VisionOS I have been awaiting this announcement since Apple started acquiring #AR companies, especially Metaio — acquired in 2015 May.
