In my Mexico City Airbnb, the communal washing machine is a bit of a high-tech wonder. After scanning a QR code, I've managed to link it to my phone. While the machine's interface remains in Spanish, I can control it in English from my phone, and even track the wash cycle progress. Handy, though it means I'll receive notifications for anyone's laundry until I unlink my account. Just popped in a small load, and curiously, it's set to run for a staggering seven hours.
The Oniro Project recently enjoyed a strong presence at EclipseCon 2023, a highly-anticipated gathering of innovators and enthusiasts in the FOSS arena.
