Three lessons from a discussion of a clause in Shirley Jackson’s "Like Mother Used To Make"

In an essay on mind and body in Shirley Jackson's "Like Mother Used To Make", a student quoted and discussed thephrase “a salad, with the lettuce on the orange plate, and the thin slices of cucumber”. I pointed out that quoting the whole clause would serve the essay well: "[...] it

Here you must first "go through the stages of #conceptualization or #abstraction" in order to develop from this in a further step "the terms for logical concepts" for machines, to learn them and to be able to apply them to several similar examples. So for machines there is still a lot to "learn" ;-).

But the original text is available on my page below.

There are more projects planned on the topic "#AC/#DC" (only meant as a bonmot ;-) or "Artificial Consciousness/Digital Consciousness", which I would like to point out here prospectively. But now Yervant or rather "the AI shall come up":

The matryoshka nesting of black holes echoes the evolutionary drive to maximize information storage contained within a diminishing volume of space as in folded crenulations in the human brain.

Perhaps there could be parallels in how information and physical states are conceptualized at their boundaries?
