Where does it hurt?: locating mental illness in the body
We are often told that "mental illness" is just like "physical illness". It's as serious - they say. However, people still continue to think of disorders suchs as OCD and BIPOLAR as something that's "in your mind". But where is the mind? What is mind? In this serialized essay i would like to explore where the mental ends and the physical begins. My own experience with mental illness has involved so much pain. This is my attempt at exploring where this pain exactly is.
