#DrWho circa 1964

Our classic Who journey sees us following the 2nd Doctor through The War Games. A great story with twists, turns & surprises, smooth exposition, & relatively diverse casting for the time.
One of many enjoyments to be had watching early Who is spotting actors you already know from elsewhere.
Here, we have General Smythe, played by Noel Coleman, who'd later play the Cat Priest in Red Dwarf's Season 1 episode Waiting For God.
We're watching the serialised b&w version, but I see there's also a colourised, feature-lengthed arrangement that we probably won't skip.

This is the very last point of decision if the USA get rid of their Raxacoricofallapatorians or change completely into a nation of Daleks.
Recalling the 1988 #DoctorWho story, #RemembranceOfTheDaleks, and the horrifying way the story presents the moral failings of the Seventh Doctor as heroic.
I bookmarked this link 10 years ago when it was new. Occasionally I run across it again, and every time it demands a listen.

The folks at PiscesRising on YouTube have produced what must surely the most epic interpretation of Australian composer Ron Grainer’s Doctor Who theme ever. Watch the video… In case you were wondering, the lyrics are “a mix of Sanskrit, faux Latin and various Doctor Who … >
Nerds rejoice.
