KamalavelanMy #ipfire #router running on #raspberrypi was getting too hot and I was seeing bad performance so I migrated it to a #vm on my #proxmox #homelab #server. In between the migration I spent two days on #opnsense. While I liked the matured GUI, I hated the amount of configuration I had to do to set up pppoe or QoS and the performance was equal to the pi. The primary issue was pppoe dropping and not reconnecting automatically. I had ipfire running in two mins, very happy.
