Potted on some cabbage starts that overwintered under my #GrowLights. Just curious to see if they grow or if they just bolt in the end. 🤔 Is EXPERIMENT.

I also washed/sanitized seed trays and sowed two different kinds of beets, which take a while to germinate and are destined for the #lowtunnel.

I cant wait for #spring - I'm betting it will be early! 😅

Long shot, but here it goes. I'm looking for good grow lights with white light for plants in my living room, preferably to be used in a classic EU fitting. There's sansi , but that's US based and has to be bought through Amazon in Europe for as far as I could find.

Anyone tips for good grow lights (not cheap shite that's flooding our online shops) that can be bought without having to go to Amazon?

Dear Friends of winter pansies,

The robin who guards our garden worms (and probably eats them) helped me plant 8 (thought I had seven) Lidl pansies. Still £1.99 for 10 - so bought 20 again. Bit of colour for autumn onward

Also found some strawberry mint growing amongst the wild geraniums in this pot before I sequestered it. That is being planted under our indoor grow lights lights.

They always grow really good when you're not ready to plant them out. This is all the squash, cucumbers, and melons. Everything good except one watermelon pot and I put more seed in it tonight in case the half sprouted thing doesn't grow a true leaf. They were all planted about 2 weeks ago.

Tomato progress. So far nice stocky tomatoes since I've been able to keep it cool. The round pots are a mix of my experimental soil that killed all but one of the peppers.. 🤣 and some more recycled soil. The saved Campari seed ones are doing good and might be far enough along to pick a winner. Might pull a few and transplant if I get to it soon. The tomatillo is doing good too.

Tomatoes and tomatillo thinned to one, and the 2024 Gravenstein scion wood rooting attempt had lots of leaf. I put a little rooting hormone in the water but it's old so I've ordered some new. The cuttings are bagged and off to the side so they're not getting full light.

Someone forgot to plant some saved Campari tomato seed so those are 8 days behind the others. Someone also plucked some things and potted them up as extras.
