Indoor growing update. It's all getting bigger. The peppers need to be spaced out, and I need to get a tray off the bench into the tent so they don't dry out so fast. Hibiscus is greening up and growing new leaves, the top of it looks good too but you can't see that. ;)

These are Asian greens that we grow & harvest as needed, year round. They are put under light covers in the colder Winter months. I keep their bases well mulched during Winter & they do just fine.

The first radish is up, it's a French breakfast heirloom. They were planted 13 days ago along with the sugar snap peas, arugula, spinach, beets, and other radish types.

There have been 58 (F) growing degree days based on a 43F base mean temp here this year, which is more of a fruit tree blossom thing at that base temp, but it's what I keep track of. Accumulated degrees above that daily mean temp base.

Sweet and Hot peppers, and a tray of Maximilian Sunflowers. Also some Shrubby St. John's wort that sprouted after spending a week alternating in the freezer and refrigerator with the sunflower seeds. Peppers were just thinned by the clippers...

I grew this bountiful #GroundCherry plant from seeds collected from last year's #VolunteerPlant. I dug a volunteer ground cherry plant out from a sidewalk crack, last year & transplanted into a pot. That plant provided loads of #fruits. I saved 2 of the largest fruits for sowing this year's plants - gave several seeds away too.

Picked more tomatoes yesterday and some peppers today.

There was about 10 lbs / 4.5 kg of tomatoes total, mostly Amish Paste but I picked the red cherry tomatoes too. All but 8 of the sweet Red Marconi peppers were sliced up and put in the dehydrator.
