I would LOVE to have something like this. The individual plug reports showing usage and cost per day and per month along with the current-moment power consumption (allowing for realtime tweaking) is amazing and very eye opening. A consolidated view would be perfect. I have four plugs still to deploy around the house.

Aggregate/grouped energy usage/monitoring graphs - Smart Home Community

Would be great if the app could show some aggregated/grouped-up  usage/power graphs.   The same graphs would be great but grouped together showing total for all devices in for example a specific selected "Room"/location or total for the sel

Level up : #esphome + #lvgl

Je commence un peu à faire ce que je veux, à adapter pas trop difficilement les exemples à mon cas de figure.

Prochaine étape : rendre ça un peu plus stylé et passer en mode sombre...

I've slowly been adding energy consumption monitoring to my Home Assistant setup and while I have a couple of things to go (kitchen fridge, dryer with very inaccessible power point, dishwasher) I think I’m getting a handle on where most of our energy is consumed.

Home networking infrastructure - Starlink power brick, router, DNS server, Fingbox, HA Green, Tapo hub - and my personal computing - MacBook Pro, Thunderbolt Display (still going 13+ years later), and printer - are the biggest grouped consumers. Everything else uses small amounts across each day. When heating and cooling are on, they make a clear difference.

I'm mostly using Tapo P110M plugs as monitors as I don't have the time or space in the wall to put something like Shelly kit - the wiring in this place is best described as “interesting”. Where things like the AC units have their own measurements, I'm using those.

The untracked consumption is interesting. I *think* it's mostly our heat pump hot water kicking off in the morning each day. I'm going to have to dig out the manual and see if I can understand what it’s doing.

I bought three smart plugs for each of the outlets in my bedroom. I can now monitor my energy consumption with Prometheus and Grafana. 😊

My bedroom doesn't have any wired-in devices, so everything that is on in my bedroom receives power from the outlets.

You can easily tell which plug my NAS and homelab machines use lol.

Updated screenshot with a more accurate price/kWh.
