So far my journey with my e-spinner looks like this: (1) buy e-spinner; (2) wait a week, set it up; (3) in the meantime, buy a bunch of fiber; (4) watch some videos and read some posts/books/other text; (5) still haven’t sat down to actually spin. I’ve been busy but it’s always that way isn’t it? Will report back soon. #HandSpinning #espinner #FiberArts

1oz Finnsheep mini skein! 4-ply fingering weight done on my EEW 6.0 #ESpinner

First time spinning in the greases, straight off the fleece 😎 I really enjoyed this technique and will probably spin the rest of the wool the same way ahahaha.

I still need to wash it and give it a good thwack to see how much it fulls. I think I'll try and 8-ply next 👀

New Account new #introduction

Hi I'm Tuttle. I'm a multiply #disabled #yarn crafter who's disabilities dramatically affect what I craft, how I craft, and that I craft.

I currently do a lot of #knitting, #crochet, #TunisianCrochet, #nalbinding, and #spinning on an #espinner. If a day goes by where I'm not doing at least one, if not two or three of these, it is a significant flare, because my bodymind wants to be always crafting and feels better when it is.

Any #woolspinners #yarnspinners out there who could tell me about your kick spindle? I’m a new spinner (ish) & paraplegic who has an #espinner and #dropspindle but I’m curious if a kick spindle spins long enough to let me spin with both hands.

Its a special kind of delusion that crafting creates among its practitioners… I just wasted 30 mins looking at beautiful wood single treadle spinning wheels for sale… AND IM A PARAPLEGIC.
