I just read a website's privacy policy prior to making a purchase, and discovered that they quite openly state that they will share or sell my personal information (including contact details) with other businesses for advertizing purposes, and that those unnamed businesses will use said personal information in accordance with their own privacy policies, whatever those may happen to be.

I have emailed the business I actually want to buy from, and asked if an offline transaction is possible, as otherwise, I will be taking my custom elsewhere.

Easier said than done, however, as I am not aware of any other NZ retailer selling a fude nibbed dip pen - or any fude nibbed pen at all, if it comes to that, actual brush tips aside.

I’m still trying to figure out my study in the new house. I’ve been relegated to the smallest room. Apparently, because we’re actual proper adults, we’re supposed to have a guest bedroom. Really? What’s wrong with the futon?

I’ve prioritised my desk, #fountainpeninks, #fountainpens, #dippens, notebooks and an abundance of drawing materials. Two #amps, two #guitars and one #pedalboard. I need a bigger room. Mostly, because I’ve also had to prioritise a WFH desk. In the same room! My flabbers were totally gasted when my lovely wife told me. So rude!!!

And now to the pedalboard (see pic). I apologise for the silicon baby fuzzface as opposed to the germanium version - there are reasons. The tremolo being sideways - only way it fits - and the other stuff (IFYKYK); the upside down reverbs - only way they fit; the appalling cable management - laziness; and the Strymon - again IFYKYK. I will not apologise for four drive pedals. There’s no such thing as too much OD 😉 I also apologise for the beige carpet. It came with the house. As @toga will testify, they don’t cope well with ink spills…
