#Pedalboard update. Still experimenting where to put the Decimator in the signal chain but I'm happy to report that my new EQ pedal has made a big difference. EQ and delay are in the fx loop, the rest are front of the amp.

I don’t really play much for the last 10 years or so, but, man, I stumbled upon two purely magical things
One:
In the study wrestling with my #pedalboard. I’m in the mood for some lo-fi/shoegaze so thinking about which drive to put at the end of the chain. Losing the will to live because velcro, so of course I’m distracted by all the ink and pens and paper.
This #fountainpenink from Diamine is no more Jade Green than I am, but I like it very much. Probably because it isn’t jade…
All of this #TrumpTax global trade war tariff nonsense is a super huge drag.
Half of my shopping list, at least, is stuff from China.
Priorities:
1. A Fenix TK22 TAC flashlight and ALB-10 bicycle handlebar mount, so I can repurpose my Fenix PD36 TAC as a personal safety light.
2. A Fenix CL27R lantern, to serve as my home power outage light and spare battery charger for the other two Fenix lights.
2. a tc electronic Impulse IR loader pedal, for my #bass #guitar #pedalboard
So… now I’ve got a JangleBox pedal (and sold two of my hardly-used pedals to get it): I spent an hour or so yesterday, rethinking my #guitar #pedalboard (as it now has a few spaces on it, and I want to plumb in the JB).
One catch: I don’t want to “permanently” install the JB, as sometimes I’ll want to use it separately. Thankfully, I am able to put back into service, a loop-switcher pedal (the red one with white labels), so I’ll be able to plug in the JB when I want/need it.
Testing to come…
