Okay, I did it. Everything is re-organized and plugged in. Using one #OneSpot and one #Cioks 4 for power and a variety of second hand patch cables.

Totally unsure if this is the signal paths I want but, it'll do for now. I'm not too worried. In the next few months I'll have my loop switcher.

Mostly #NativeAudio #effectsPedals here. There's a new one on the way and I still have to get the Commodity Fuzz (PM me if you'll sell me one!)

Currently, there are five distortion/fuzz pedals here. All in different places. lol. Two phasers!

Need a vol pedal and multitude of expression controllers. Then, I'm just about done & it'll be time to build a #pedalboard.

I am disappointed in the #EarthQuakerDevices tentacle octave pedal. It doesn't really do anything. On low notes it adds a meh-sounding distortion. I can't tell if it's even adding an octave on the highest notes or just making them sound a little brighter.

No wonder the guy was selling it. After the fact, I went to EQD's website & they say in the FAQ it's not really for #bass & might make bad noises. On guitar, to use above 12th fret.

I've relegated it for use exclusively after delay+reverb. It looks cool.

Anyways, this Frydead Fuzz sounds good.

So I've been collecting some pedals to play surf #guitar on the #gordonsmith guitar.

I got a secondhand pedal flight case, cos it has a lid to keep the dust off, and I like the style. I'm not a gigging guitarist...

The latest addition is the SurfyBear reverb tank, B-Stock cheap direct from Italy.

The slapjack echo also gets a lot of use, however there is also a boss looper, a mooer drum pedal, a tuner, an amp, and a jcm800 gain pedal. so there are not really many crazy noises to be had.

As well as surf guitar, I've been playing some western movie themes, so I've got diverse taste 🙂
The Orange amp sounds nice and grrr, and the switcher goes to a 25w fender amp for cleans.

I don't really need any new overdrive pedals, but if the new Mad Professor Super Black mini (which is just the original Super Black minus the Sweet Honey circuit that was the second half of it, in a regular size pedal enclosure) is a BJFe design, then I very well might put it on my "to buy" list, along with a Mad Professor Royal Blue Overdrive.

And I'll build a new analogue mono #pedalboard around them, just because.

#NeuralDSP have got a lot right with the new #QuadCortex mini, but I have questions about the durability.

Like #BOSS did with their GT-1000 and GT-1000Core, the QCmini has the same internal hardware as the full QC, so there's no compromise on power.

However, the QCmini still costs more than twice the Core and uses more than twice the power.

This is good for the #guitar #bass #effects #fx #pedalboard #MI industry, and will push the competition that much harder.

Sometimes, I want to try something out & have to reroute power & patch cables. Then it just stays like that for a while and the pedals are not lined up all pretty anymore. lol

Zastanawiałem się, czy nie potrzebuję większego pedalboardu, ale nie mieści się w zasadzie tylko odbiornik od bezprzewodu i zestaw kombinacji do wypuszczania sygnału koncertowo równocześnie na paczkę i przez DIbox z symulacją kolumny, tak więc chyba styknie. Na razie XD

Pomyśleć, że rok temu cisnąłem 100% przez laptopa. Taki powrót do pudełek do deptania daje dużo radości!
